Length: 1st friday in September to the last friday in April (with holiday breaks).
Meeting: once per week - (90 minutes for each class)

Class Description:
Students will write an original screenplay over a period of eight months. Along the way we will study story structure, scene structure, and characterization as we learn to write for a visual medium. Because our culture gets its concepts of truth primarily through visual entertainment (TV, movies and video games), we’ll focus on the communication of ideas through story as a way of impacting the next generation. We will also analyze classic film techniques that rely on visual and audio storytelling, and workshop our own screenplays as a group.
